9F 2-10-0 STANDARD 92077

Ever since my first encounter with
model railways some 30 odd years ago I had always yearned for a
9F locomotive. I never managed to get hold of one for one reason
or another but now I have two Bachmann models, both in BR Black.
This particular loco, 92077, is un-weathered and it's one of
those locos that you know is going to delight even before it's
placed on the track. It looks superb and feels weighty and
substantial and delight it certainly does. The 9F's are going to
be in regular use on the Selby Garden Railway as they are one of
my favourite locos and while I have yet to test the pulling
power I am sure they won't disappoint.
